• SETTING •

Here we have our story’s setting; this will be the place everybody lives as far as the site is concerned. Please be sure to keep this in mind while writing! And if your character is not originally from here then you must specify so in their backstory.

Our story is set in modern day Southeast Ohio, which would be considered a supernatural hot spot of sorts, due to its heritage in Algonquian culture. The place where our story is located is within the fictional town of Alma- here we have your typical weather of rainy springs, mildly humid summers, crisp autumns, and cold, snowy winters, it is located just off the corner of the shoreline. Their costal area is too small to do anything with, being a few miles through the forests away from the community. Within Alma the suburban and small business-type of living occurs more than anything, but in the deeper part of town there have been small sections of more city-like complexes popping up in the last few decades. Closer towards the north edge of the settlement, a vast landscape lies of a huge national forest reserve, where there’s hundreds of miles of trees. Who knows what things might lurk under the shelter of the canopy that the leaves provide...
